What LeanFPS does
LeanFPS changes Windows settings and process priorities to help games run more smoothly, and measures frame rates. It needs administrator rights. It saves the previous value of every setting it changes so you can restore it with Restore all or leanfps.exe --restore-all. The list of changes is on the Windows gaming tweaks page.
Your responsibilities
- Use LeanFPS only on a PC you own or are allowed to change.
- Keep your own backups of important files, as with any software that runs with administrator rights. LeanFPS does not delete or modify personal files.
- Check the rules of the games and leagues you play. LeanFPS does not inject into games or read their memory, but we cannot speak for every anti-cheat policy.
No guaranteed FPS gain
Results depend on your hardware, drivers and games. Many systems gain little from system tweaks, which is why LeanFPS measures the result. We make no promise of a specific improvement.
LeanFPS Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase of $19 (USD), with no subscription. You get a license key by email; no account is needed.
- A key can be active on up to three PCs at a time. You can remove a PC in the app or on the license page to free a seat. Keys are for your own PCs; do not share or resell them.
- Activation needs the internet once. The app renews its license file when online and keeps Pro working for up to 30 days offline.
- Refunds: email contact@leanfps.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. After a refund the key stops working and Pro features are locked again.
- Updates released for the app are included in Pro.
Limitation of liability
LeanFPS is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits arising from using it, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
